The tiny fingers. Little toes. Newborn hair (or no hair!). It’s all such a fleeting time.
As a mama of 2 myself, I know first hand how quick it all goes. And what details my own photos help me remember! Because you may know this already, but time will certainly make it hard to remember the details of this very short window of time.
So that’s why I always say if you choose one session to invest in your whole life, I always suggest a newborn session above all. Because you’ll likely look back on these more than any other photos throughout your life.
An Authentic Experience
I spent over a decade as a full time wedding photographer. And during that time I developed a deep sense of story telling that has become the entire foundation of my work.
Every newborn session gets treated as more of a “life session”. One where I enter your home and gently guide different poses as I document the real and raw moments of this precious newborn time.
You’ll get photos with the whole family, siblings, fur babies, the baby by themselves, and the home it’s all happening in.
Approaching each session this way documents your real life in this chapter. For yourselves and as a gift for your own baby to have - This is what life was like when you entered into the world.
A Baby Led Session
Newborns need a lot of love with extra feeds, diaper changes, and patience. I slot up to 2 hours of time with each of my babies so there’s no stress for the photo taking on your part.
Baby need a feed? Let them feed! Baby have a blowout? (hopefully not hah!) let’s get them changed! Siblings need warmup time? Let’s let them play. I’m there to make this as stress free and laid back as possible for everyone involved.
Some babies need the whole 2 hours while others are done by the first hour. Every baby is truly different which is why I like to remain as flexible as possible and give the extra time where it’s needed.
So no matter how your baby feels the day of your session, we will be able to capture magic together and you’re guaranteed photos no matter what.
I’m here for it all
You probably already know (or will quickly be learning) how fast baby’s first year can go. Pregnancy can feel like a lifetime when you’re in the middle of it. But it’s an even shorter stage during a child’s whole life.
I know that truth deeply. As my own babies are now aged 10 and 1! I barely remember the pregnancy of my first and the pregnancy of my second already feels like a lifetime ago.
That’s why I like to offer all types of sessions ranging from pregnancy announcements, maternity, newborns, all the monthly milestones, first birthdays, and any other huge milestones you want captured.
Because life is short and these photos aren’t just for yourself. They truly are a gift you’ll be giving your children for them to have forever. It might be just a little chapter of your own story. But it’s the entire beginning of theirs.

I’ve been in the business since 2009 documenting hundreds of different families and couples over the years. I used to be a wedding photographer and did that full time for over a decade until 2023 when I pivoted full time into my Newborn and Family photography work.
So needless to say, I have so much experience working with just about every person and personality type you can imagine! I absolutely love what I do and count my blessings everyday that I get to do what I love for work.
Family life is at the center of my own world - being a mom is my favorite thing ever! And getting to put that passion into the world sharing it with others brings me an immeasurable amount of fulfillment and joy.
