If you’re looking for family photos that are more laid back, kids are allowed to be kids, and you want or need a photographer who cannot be surprised by any level of chaos… then I might be your girl!
Being a photographer for nearly 2 decades has give me so much experience with all types of people… adults and kids alike.
I come prepared with fun games, pose ideas, and movement that keeps things from feeling too forced or posed and as natural as possible and can even be known to pull out some music and give impromptu dance parties for littles that need a little boost.
If you want to plan a fun family activity with a family hike, explore a creek looking for fossils or rocks, do a family picnic with snacks and your favorite books, fly kites, or frolic through big rolling fields at sunset… anything is truly possible for your session!
What You Can Expect
All of my sessions run up to an hour but typically last about 45 minutes - BUT if we get blessed with an amazing sunlight or we’re havin an extra special time, I sometimes run over the hour mark! I go with the flow of your family and we’ll make magic no matter what
I typically like to shoot in the evenings for best lighting but I know of a lot of places that offer good shade and covered areas if earlier times work for your kiddos. I’m flexible and can work with pretty much all lighting scenarios.
Studio options all around the tri-state are also available if you’d prefer to get indoors and be safe from all weather!
I don’t put a cap on the number of photos a gallery will have. If I shoot it, you get it! (save a few blurry/extras)
you’ll get a good mix of traditional posey photos alongside candids of all kinds. I really try to approach a storytelling direction the best I can with every single session.
you’ll also get personal planning for every session down to outfits, location, time, and everything else inbetween! when you book, I’m an open book. You definitely don’t have to do all the planning by yourself

I’ve been in the business since 2009 documenting hundreds of different families and couples over the years. I used to be a wedding photographer and did that full time for over a decade until 2023 when I pivoted full time into my Newborn and Family photography work.
So needless to say, I have so much experience working with just about every person and personality type you can imagine! I absolutely love what I do and count my blessings everyday that I get to do what I love for work.
Family life is at the center of my own world - being a mom is my favorite thing ever! And getting to put that passion into the world sharing it with others brings me an immeasurable amount of fulfillment and joy.
